IMVPA personnel have considerable experience in both offshore and onshore pipeline engineering. Project locations have included Alberta, Alaska, Sakhalin Island, Russia, Grand Banks, offshore Nova Scotia, Mobile Bay, and deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

In addition to conventional engineering design services, IMVPA offers engineering mechanical design of pipelines and risers using limit state design methods, and risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulation to optimize designs.
